Cape Abilities was founded in 1968 and started out in the old Orleans fire station. Fast forward to today and Cape Abilities has been serving the community for over 50 years, providing enriching and high-quality services. The foundation currently serves more than 400 individuals, at a time one time. Cape Abilities is licensed and certified by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) allowing it to offer a variety of services. Services include Day habilitation, community-based day support program, community employment services, pre-employment services program, residential services, and transportation services.
