Damien’s Place is a food pantry that serves in the Greater Wareham/New Bedford area.  Their mission “is to help end hunger in the greater Wareham/New Bedford area by giving food to the people in need, promoting education and hunger awareness in the community, and providing information to our guests regarding other community resources.” Since 1992 Damien’s Place has served thousands of people per year, and in 2020 they fed over 21,000 people. They continue to live by their moto to this day, “no one goes to bed hungry”.
